District Divine Service

Lunch ($10) – Soup, sandwiches, cheese and crackers and brownie type squares for dessert with tea and coffee, water, apple juice to be taken care of by District Chaplain.

Time: meet at 9:00am service at 9:30am
Place: Thessalon United Church (224 Main St, Thessalon, ON P0R 1L0)
Dress: business suit and regalia
Lunch: 12:00pm ($10.00) at Dyment Lodge
District meeting immediately following lunch

Go downstairs and put Regalia on. There will be a dish there for anyone wanting to make their own donation.
Head upstairs at 9:30 using both sides of the church stairways.

Middle section of the church, first 4 pews are for us. DDGM and Chaplain in first pew.
Welcome from the Minister and DDGM to give welcoming remarks and talk about who we are.
Minister will send us our parts ahead of time and direct us when to get up and speak at the lower lectern.
Near the end will be the receiving of the offerings and Minister will motion DDGM and he can go up and offer our donation.
At the end of the Service, The Minister will say “Go now in Peace” and at that time we will get up and leave the opposite way we came in so the leaders of the pews will lead us in and out. Less confusion for everyone.

Church service should be over around 10:30 am.
Head downstairs and unclothe and have some refreshments and talk with the people and then head over to the lodge.
Relax at lodge til lunch at noon.
