In Memoriam
W. Bro. Les Arnott
On Saturday January 25, 2025 W. Bro. Les Arnott laid down his working tools and was called to the Grand Lodge above. Bro. Les was a devoted member of Lorne Lodge No. 622. He was initiated on April 28, 2007. passed to the 2nd Degree on May 1, 2007 and was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on September 3, 2009. On June 1, 2012 Les was installed as the Worshipful Master of Lorne Lodge No. 622. In the years since he was always there when called upon. He sat in many chairs during his Masonic career and was currently our Tyler. Les was also an affiliate member of Woodland Lodge No. 680 in Wawa and a member of Scottish Rite.
W. Bro. Les came to Chapleau several years as an employee of Bell Canada. he was an avid outdoorsman and if ever had the occasion to miss a Lodge meeting it was due to a work commitment (or maybe he was out chasing Bambi).
To Les’s wife Gwen and his family the Officers and Brethren of Lorne Lodge No. 622 extend our sincerest condolences.
We cherish his memory in our hearts.
