 District Deputy Grand Master

Algoma East District

R.W. Bro. Rodney Norman Caughill

It is my distinct pleasure and honour to represent the Masons of Algoma East as the District Deputy Grand Master for the ensuing year. The District Secretary,  Wor. Bro. Ryan Crowle, and myself have committed ourselves to furthering the interests of Masonry as representatives of The Grand Lodge for the next 12 months and look forward to the opportunity to meet and greet as many of you as we can.

The various committee chairmen are all very experienced men and took the positions without hesitation in every case. Rt. Wor. Bro. Lewis and now V. Wor. Bro. Stewart have left the District in excellent condition and should be complimented on their diligence over the past year. The transition to Wor. Bro. Crowle and I has been very smooth and well organized and we hope to continue to carry the mantle in equal fashion.

I would also like to express my sincere congratulations to Very Worshipful Brother Maxwell Norman Stewart on his appointment as a Grand Steward. It is a position that is not only well deserved but also looks good on him! The rank and title definitely suit the man. I look forward to travelling with him in this, my term.

My goal this year is to further the Cornerstone Project and its principles throughout the District. Penewobikong Lodge has received their designation and has set the bench mark for the others to follow. By achieving even some of the requirements, the betterment of the Lodges and our exposure in our communities will greatly enhanced and our Fraternity can only become stronger through our efforts.

I look forward to working with each and every one of you over the year and thank you in advance for your support.
